First of all, this was funny and well made. But also, this vid rubs a little wrong. At the end, the girl: "...that is totally not fair" and the dude responds "that's why it's called grace." he seem to agree that grace is not fair?
It's true, to people grace may SEEM unfair. But grace isn't unfair, right? wouldn't that would contradict God's nature?
This vid seems to make these two concepts (fairness + grace) mutually exclusive.
But the Bible tells us in Rom. 3:26 God became both the just (fairness) and the justifier (grace). Both operate in salvation, right?
• You say you "heard a revelation from the 'still small voice?' If the Bible doesn't back it then it seems quite clear; Perhaps it was the devil who whispered in your ear!" ~Steve Taylor - in his song "Guilty by Association"
• We all profess that we are bound for heaven, immortality, and glory: but is it any evidence that we really desire it if all our thoughts are consumed about the trifles of this world, which we must leave behind us, and have only occasional thoughts of things above? ~John Owen
