I have little doubt Todd Bentley actually sees and talks to real angels. Unfortunately, they are fallen angels. As for the angel he met "over 30 times", the angel that followed his meetings and stood to the left, and the other angels he sees repeatedly, there is a Biblical name for such: "familiar spirits."

In God's Word, appearances by God's angels were special occasions of momentous import, in fact, miraculous events, rather than routine, common occurrences.

Beware the strange fire. Don't get caught standing with the Sons of Korah.

I can't fathom why anyone claiming to be a born again "leader" would be calling down "spirits and angels" to do the basic functions of the Holy Spirit. Could it be these leaders tossed God and His word out because these experiences offer them more excitement and notoriety?
I think they fell away from the truth and then re-invented a god of their own vain imaginations.
The double whammy is they cannot give up the fame and power that drives these lies. If they ever 'see' it will only be because God Himself opened their eyes.

Not only that, if they were truly repentant, truly loving Jesus, why would they be summoning up angels? They might as well be witches in a coven... NOWHERE in Scripture do you see people gathering together to summon up anything. Christians gather together to pray, to love God, to seek HIM.

If God sends His angels, that's HIS remit. It's not for us to demand. And if we do demand angels, why do we assume that the ones we're getting are of God? Satan is an angel too after all.

I repeat... NOWHERE in Scripture do saints gather and start summoning angels. Not one Scripture supports what Bentley is doing.

Of course I don't believe they want "real" fire. But as a group (not every individual) they are calling for their fire and CERTAINLY NOT receiving the "fire" of the indwelling Holy Spirit that leads people to repentance. If they received the "fire" would they need to call for it daily?

On angels, did Daniel or Jesus call on God to send angels, or did they just call on God, and trust God for their provision. If God decides to send angels (and He may) so be it. But it is NOT scriptural to ask God to send them, or to trust in them for any of our needs. They are simply created beings doing God's bidding. Yes, they war in the hidden spiritual realm, and they minister to us what God desires, and they reap and gather the lawless wicked, and the elect, and they joy in conversion of souls.

You are applying the FACT that there are angels and they have a work to do, to this audio which ONLY shows a group of people calling on "God" to send "angels" to provide what they want or need.

That is unbiblical and it is indirect angel worship.

You don't really believe he was ask God to send physical fire do you? If you do you weren't listening. He was crying out for the fires of revival. Do you want revival?

Study the greek work homothumodon, it's probably mis-spelled, but it's the word translated "one accord" in Acts 2 and other places. It's a compound of homo (the same) and thomodon. It's a word that means passion, to burn, blow, smoke.

Get the picture 120 in a room with one heated passion for the promise of fire. They are probably making a bunch of noise. They are blowing and burning in prayer for the presence of God. God comes with wind and tounges of fire. People not much different then you accuse them of being drunk. Every revival has those who oppose.

Also there is a huge difference between worshiping angles and ask God to send them. I honestly find nothing wrong with the clips. I am a bible believing Christian, not a Baal worshiper, nor an angel worshiper. Your examples don't match your comments. There are many biblical examples of angels waring in Daniel, and ministering to Jesus after his fast, just to name a couple.
