I have recently come out of the charismatic church due to my church being very involved with the lakeland revival.. my name.. getting there.. means I am on a new journey see: www.dicernment4truth.blogspot.com my new journey.<BR/><BR/>However I must include what effective witnessing is. It is not going door to door as anyone and any religion can do that. A real witness is one who lives the life and not just preaches it. My husband came to know God without me having to preach a word. I witnessed silently by lovimg him. Not all people are evangelists, not all are prophets we each have a place where we are in our christian walk. If someone asks me about God, trust me, when that door opens I go in full ball. But I find the JW's form of evangelism very intrusive also. Some can be put off. Quotes from other translations many of the times and learn the true meaning of the Greek words. This helps us stay focus of what Jehovah (Most high God) his Son Jesus has directed for his followers.<BR/>Some times the light is not bright enough and as time goes on, a re-adjustment is in order in our thinking on teaching. <BR/>Would it not be better to re-adjust then to stand firm on something that may not be correct? Modern Science updates all the time for the benefit or all mankind. <BR/>Same with the study of the Bible, sometimes it takes much study and word events to realize that maybe something needs to be looked into again.<BR/>What does not change in the encouragement to keep showing love and display the fruitages of the spirit to each other. <BR/>Why do we need to be reminded about this? Because family problems, deaths, money, hunger many things that keep our minds off the teaching at times. <BR/>We need to always tell our children to play nice and love each other. It many have been our persecution! Is not written you will be persecuted you because of my name? Bible speaks about wolfs in sheep clothing. Could it not be every place and even in high places?
